2009 CCCX Mountain Bike Series Race 1
CCCX XC #1 2009 turns into one of the most demanding XC races ever in Ft Ord as constant rains turn the course into a mud-fest. Keith DeFiebre takes a big lead early in the 35+ Expert race, then gets caught and quickly passed by eventual race winner Alex Rausch. DeFiebre rides to a solid 2nd place putting 3 minutes into the next finisher in his division.


2007 Central Coast Cyclocross Race 2
Toro Park hosted it's first ever Cyclocross race and here Keith DeFiebre leads the "A" Master 35+ men's race.....
Keith DeFiebre leads early before getting swamped by three Cal Giant Inc. riders and 2 others Nor-cal Cross legends Larry Hibbard and Mark Howland. DeFiebre digs deep and does not crumble too bad and hangs on for 6th place on the day. Over 25 riders raced and the field was full of strong Cross riders from all over Northern California.

CCCX XC #3 3/15/09 @ Ft Ord- Monterey
Keith DeFiebre attacks full out on the first steep hill of lap #1 at CCCX XC #3 in Ft Ord. DeFiebre and Alex Rousch instantly have a gap on the field. Rousch continues to drive the pace and DeFiebre gets dropped. DeFiebre then works as hard as possible to hold off the chase group behind. DeFiebre rides solo and eventually clears himself of the chasers and takes 2nd place on the day.

Benicia Crit. 2008
At the Benicia Crit., held in Sept of 2008, Keith DeFiebre wears the WTB racing kit and is working for Mark Weir. Weir makes the winning 3 man breakaway, and DeFiebre fights out the field sprint. In the end DeFiebre is 2nd in the field sprint losing only to Chris Wire of Team San Jose(top photo below). DeFiebre is 5th in the race overall.

2006 CCCX Race 1 Results: Manzanita Park, Prunedale, 9/24/06.
Livermore Cyclocross
Keith DeFiebre races to 2nd overall at the Livermore Cyclocross Series. DeFiebre thinks he has won the race at the finish. Until he reads the results and there was one rider up the road who DeFiebre figured was not in the "A" division, but was racing the Single Speed division. DeFiebre was wrong in his assessment and was relegated to 2nd place on the day.

2007 CCCX Mountain Bike Series Race 6

Brock Dickie(Buy-Cell.com), Aaron Bonar(Syscip), & Keith DeFiebre wage a strong battle on this day of racing. DeFiebre hangs on to the 2007 CCCX Series winner Brock Dickie for the entire race, then sprints past Dickie making a push for the race win. The Buy Cell.com racer then claws back up to DeFiebre at the finish line and bike throws his was to the win, relegating DeFiebre to 2nd place on the day.Results:

2008 CCCX Downhill Race #7: Toro Park, Salinas, 6/8/08
DH #7 of the 2008 CCCX Series was one of Keith DeFiebre's better days on the hill. DeFiebre posted the top 2 fastest times of the day overall. This was in the Expert & Hardtail divisions.
In winning the Single Speed division DeFiebre posted the 4th fastest time of the day overall. DeFiebre also was fastest in the Chainless race.
So it was four division wins for DeFiebre, and 3 of the fastest 4 times out of all the racers combined.

CCCX Race 2 Results: Fort Ord, Seaside, 9/28/08
The second race of the 2008 CCCX Series has Keith DeFiebre riding his very best. Defiebre is at the front of the race for the duration, finally getting in a three man break with Gannon Myall & Murray Swanson with 2 laps to go for the win. DeFiebre does not hold back and drives the pace up the final hill making sure the break will stick all the way top the finish. With just a few corners to go DeFiebre makes his push for the win, gaining a small gap off the front. DeFiebre then crashes with only 3 turns left in the race. DeFiebre gets up and manages to finish 2nd after having the race seemingly won.

NCNCA CUP #1 2008- Laguna Seca Raceway 10/12/08

The 2008 NCNCA Cyclocross Cup opened up at Laguna Seca Raceway on course featuring a steep uphill section near the famed "Cork Screw" turn on the race track. Keith DeFiebre started fast, and went on a early breakaway with Murray Swanson. They had a solid gap but were chased down on the 3rd lap. DeFiebre then blew up spectacularly, unable to hold the high pace. DeFiebre finished 10th place in the end.
